changes are happening...

Yesterday I took the kids for the 5 and 6 year old checkups.  Everything went great in the "weight and measurement room", in fact, there are EXACTLY 8 ounces difference in the two of them! There is 6 inches difference in height, but 8 oz in weight! Crazy! Anyway, the next step was the eye exam. Wesley passed with flying colors, 20/25 in both eyes.  Makenzie, however, didn't do so great- 20/40 in one eye and 20/50 in the other.  YIKES! I didn't expect that! I couldn't believe that she couldn't see the letters on the THIRD row! I was in shock!  Anyway, we then got the regular exam from the kids pediatrician and she referred Makenzie to a pediatric eye Dr.  We will be going Tuesday and hopefully he will be able to help my child see again! :)

This afternoon was a big afternoon for Wesley, and me.  He came home with his K5 graduation cap and gown! I didn't know it was coming home so soon. He ran in my room with it in his hands so proud and grinning from ear to ear! He knew it was a HUGE deal and tried it on immediately.  Of course, the moment he put it on tears started to pour. I couldn't help it! My baby is graduating kindergarten! I know that all I have to do is blink and he will be graduating high school and then college! Man, time is flying WAY to fast! Too many changes, too fast! :)

I had no idea Kenzie was having any trouble with her eyes! She will just be cute with glasses like her Aunt Abby! :)

And I saw the picture of Wesley in his cap and gown, so cute!
