We are taking a vacation this week in Sandestin, FL. It is absolutely GORGEOUS! We are heading into day 3 and are having a blast. Staying busy, but still relaxing and enjoying the vacation. On day one, Sunday, we explored the resort some and played in the pool. On Monday, we played at the beach and in the pool. Then we watched a movie in the movie theater at the resort. That evening, we went to the BayTown Village. This is a very neat boardwalk type area where there are lots of shops, restaurants and activities for kids.
Today has been a very busy day! We went on an adventure hike this morning to Jolee Island ( an island off the resort). On the island there were 2 pirate ship playgrounds for the kids to play on. Wesley LOVED this adventure! The rest of the day consisted of swimming, canoeing the bay, and swimming some more! Here are just a few pictures of our vacation so far.
