Reading machine

This morning Ms. Minor, the elementary principal, surprised the kids with the awards for the TOP scoring Accelerated Reader awards. In grades 1-5 every student can chose a book on the AR approved list, read the book, and then take a proficiency test on the book to see if they comprehended what they read. They can read as many books as they want. Wesley received the award for his class for being the highest scorer. Kylee Latham, the other student in the pictures was the top student in the other first grade class. Mrs. Yrabedra (MCS's Librarian) and Ms. Minor awarded them in chapel this morning. They are so proud of their achievement and so are we!
