Gulf Coast Bible Camp 2015

This was Wesley's 4th year of camp and Makenzie's 3rd. Every year there is always something that marks the week as memorable. This week was the storms and power outage. Let me just say that a power outage with 108 campers and around 50-60 staff all crammed in the mess hall got loud and HOT quickly! But we all survived, we got creative and we all had more patience then I think we knew we had.

We love GCBC and the memories our kids make there every year. The friends hips they make are lifelong.

I have gotten the pleasure of attending camp with the kids every year. I am one of the craft ladies so it allows them to do their own thing yet I am there to witness their fun and memories they make.

Every cabin has a daily Bible class where they talk about a specific theme in the Bible.

To finish off the week, Makenzie was honored with the Bible class award for her cabin. She was the youngest in her cabin and had a few hard times understanding why girls say and treat others they way they do. I am proud of her for standing up for what she knows is right and walking away from gossip and "boy talk" when she heard it start. So many pressures our kids face these days....
