Homecoming 2011

Wesley and Laney at the presentation of the Homecoming Court Friday morning
This week has been a crazy busy week at Mobile Christian.  MCS is celebrating it's 50 year anniversary this year and THIS week was Homecoming.  There were LOTS of students, staff, alumni and friends on campus this week for multiple events and activities.  There were several class reunions and a dad of 2 MCS students surprised his kids with a WONDERFUL homecoming.  He has been stationed in Iraq for the past 7 months and he surprised them Thursday at their Middle School Football game.  There were LOTS of tears and the reaction on the kids faces were priceless!

Glen and other Alumni MCS football players were recognized during the game Friday night

One more thing to add to Wesley's weekend- he lost one of his top front teeth!
The end to a LONG day.....
One of our family highlights of homecoming was Wesley being honored as the Crown Bearer for the Homecoming Queen.  Below are some pictures of Friday mornings school wide assembly and then a few pictures from the Presentation of the Court at the game Friday night.
