10 years and it seems like yesterday...

On July 5, 2002 at 5pm in the evening in Searcy, Ar. Glen an I exchanged vows to each other in front of God and 200 people. However, Glen woke up that morning sick and with no voice. In a panic he rushed to the Dr for a shot and "quick fix". Needless to say, he was in a "fog" most of the rest of the day.
After our first night in Little Rock, we then flew to Orlando. Yep, we honeymooned at Disney. :). We had so much fun, especially after Glens meds started to finally work!
So, 10 years later, as we were trying to figure out where to go and what to do for our anniversary we decided where else but where we "started!" So here we are, back in Orlando. This time, however, we didn't go to Disney. We have been a few times in the past few years so we decided on Universal Studios. After going for one day, we decided that Universal is NOT a place to bring kids under the age of 13. There isn't enough for them to do to compensate the ticket price. At least that is our opinion.
Man it was H.O.T. but we had fun!

relaxing by the pool- what we did best! :)

See- water filling up the tub from the ceiling!

We enjoyed spending just "us" time and being able to do things that we like to do and not what the kids like to do. :). The resort we stayed at was wonderful as well. From our balcony we can see Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Universal, and Hollywood Studios. We got a wonderful fireworks display EVERY night! We did have an interesting discovery the first night we arrived. When we walked in to the bathroom we saw a nice garden tub. However, there was no spout for the water to get in to the tub. When glen went to turn the handle for the water, it started to come from the ceiling!!! We thought that was pretty cool! Never seen anything like that before!
We had SO much fun this past week,we did NOT want to return to reality!

We were there for day 2 of the rides opening!

I am not a fan of heights OR being flipped upside down, BUT I didn't let that stop me this time from riding every rollercoaster! I don't know who is more proud of me, Glen or me!
Wesley got a personalized comic book signed from Spiderman.  He LOVED it!

Wet got wet!   We also LOVED Harry Potter, but I was not a fan of the "butterbeer".
