1st Bama Game

Tennessee may be my #1 team, but Bama is my #2. I will happily cheer on the Tide as long as the VOLS are NOT playing them. With that being said I went to my first Alabama game last Saturday. It might have just been the A-Day game, but it was a Blast! There were OVER 80,000 people there in attendance, PLUS, ESPN was broadcasting from there that day! We decided that we would take Wesley to the game too. We knew, from taking Makenzie to the movies, that she would not sit there the entire game so we left her with MamaPam to have a "Princess play day!" The entire way to Tuscaloosa we tried to explain to Wesley where he was going and what he was going to see. As we started walking up to the stadium Wesley started noticing all the "BAMA" shirts. He kept saying," Mama, Daddy,look at all the Alabama shirts!!!" We kept trying to explain to him that we were at an Alabama football game, but that didn't actual sink in till he saw the players on the field. The entire atmosphere was exciting! The band played, the cheerleaders cheering and Big AL dancing on the field kept us all entertained. Wesley loved dancing and cheering "ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!" He knows how to make his daddy happy and put a HUGE smile on his face!
