My little BIG boy...

Here recently I have been noticing how BIG Wesley is getting. It has just snuck up on us. It seems like just yesterday he was learning to hold his bottle, stand up for the first time, and hear him call me "mama" for the first time! Oh how time flies! Today I took him for his 4 yr. old pictures. Yes, I know I am a little late, but I never think about it or have the time. When they called our name for pictures he walked right in the room and started smiling and saying "cheese" like a big boy! I was so proud! I just knew that I was going to have to bribe him with something to get him to smile and sit still! We got lots of great shots and were finished within 10 mins! It is times like today when he surprises me. For his 4yr old checkup at the Dr. he was GREAT! He told Dr. Roberts what to check on him and he even told her what his heart "said" when she listened to it. At home he is becoming more and more independent. He only wants to get dress in his room with his door closed. He can fully dress himself and is getting better at buttoning his shirts. He has started making his bed, he cleans his room without whining, and he even empties the trash in the bathrooms! He loves to help set the table before dinner and he even likes to help clear the table after wards! His coloring is getting better too. He is coloring more in the lines and doesn't use only 1 color to color an entire page. He loves to draw and he is even learning to write his name. If you give him a Dr. Seuss book he can even sound out the words!

Now that I have bragged your ear off on my little BIG boy I will stop, at least for now! :) Time is flying by and in just 3 months my little boy will be starting school! I know that I will blink and he will be graduating high school and moving off to college. Some times I wish I could just push a pause button and stay in the now and not let them grow up! If someone knows of a way please let me know, because Makenzie is gaining speed quickly!!!!
