A LONG week
What a week! We did survive, but barely! Last Friday, Sept. 3rd, Wesley got his tonsils and adenoids (for the 2nd time!) removed. He did very well during the surgery and while we were there in recovery. However, things changed once we got home. NOTHING, and I mean not even the nausea medicine, would stay down! It was a very L-O-N-G day. My little man was absolutely miserable. At one point he told me "mommy, I have never felt this bad before. I want my tonsils back!" After several days of him not eating or drinking anything,we finally started forcing liquid in him having to measure every ounce. Now, we are starting to see the light on the other side of the tunnel. Last night was the first night that we had a full night of sleep.YIPEE!!! Wesley will start back at school for a full day tomorrow. Hopefully he will be fine. He went for a half day on Friday and that wore him out.
We are so thankful for all the prayers and thoughts that have been with Wesley over the past week. As we know from the past, some many things could go wrong. But God is good and we know that he is always there! :)
