The Best Daddy in the World!

Breakfast is Ready!
The kids have been looking forward to and reminding us CONSTANTLY for the past several days, that Sunday was Father's Day. They are at the age where they REALLY get excited and want to plan out every detail of everything. Sunday was NO exception! Wesley woke up bright and early (5:30am to be exact!) and went to the bathroom and then "snuck" into our room to wake me up. I QUICKLY told him to go back to bed and that we had at least another hour to sleep before we got up to fix daddy's breakfast. So, he went and got his pillow and blanket and camped out on the floor at the foot of our bed. He didn't want to miss a second when I got up! Soon, oh too soon, it was time to get up and get breakfast started. The kids helped make the batter for waffles and set the table. Then they cut out letters to make a "Happy Father's Day" bouquet for their daddy. When it was finally time, they ran in to the bedroom and woke up daddy. They were so proud and SO excited to "surprise" their daddy with his breakfast. Glen played along and acted "surprised" and thanked the kids over and over for the wonderful breakfast.

Happy Father's Day

I had to put this picture on here! Olivia slept while we all ate lunch. The best part was that she was swaddled in an ALABAMA blanket! Made her daddy happy! :)
