"I Do..."

My cousin, Nick Michael, married his sweetheart Kelsey Sherrod, on May 21 in Florence, AL.  Makenzie was asked to be in the wedding as the flower girl. She was SO excited about dressing up like a princess and getting to be "dolled up" for a day.  I must say, she was mighty adorable too! She stole every one's heart as she twirled and danced the night away on the dance floor at the reception. She loved to see her dress twirl as she twirled. One of the more memorable moments from the wedding was her arriving at the ceremony. She arrived in style with the bride and her father- in a vintage Rolls Royce!  Granted she doesn't understand how neat that was, but she will one day! As she arrived at the ceremony, Mr. Jeremy (the coordinator), told her "now don't forget to drop them!"  So, what did she do, she DROPPED the entire basket (flowers and all) and then continued to walk down the aisle (with out the flowers).  When she arrived to me at the front I quietly asked her where her basket was, she immediately said "Mr. Jeremy told me to drop it".  I just laughed as I thought how literal kids can be sometimes.  :)

Her GREAT-GRANDFATHER, Daddyken, Danced with her and she LOVED it!

I also enjoyed a few moments on the dance floor with my little princess.

Unfortunately, Glen and Wesley were not able to make it to the wedding due to illness. We missed them so much but did enjoy our "girls" weekend! :)
