I don't know about you but raising my children in today's world is very scary! Today's children are having to learn more about the "world" due to "rules" and "laws" that are being put in placed by our own government. We can't even sit down as a family and watch a show on TV without a commercial that pushes homosexuality. After last weeks Supreme Court ruling, we sat down with our children and discussed homosexuality with our children. We fully believe that homosexuality is a sin, a sin like all other sins (ex: lying, cheating, gossiping, murdering, fornication, etc.). So we are teaching our children what the Bible says and taking everything from scripture. If you are in the same boat we are, here is a blog post that we used and it has a lots of great verses.
I hope we, as Christians, can join together and show love to everyone, but train our children to understand what the Bible says about this sin. We are all tempted in our own way. But it becomes a sin once you act on that temptation. Hate the sin, not the sinner.....
